Betsy: Lead vocals and percussion

A native New Yorker, Betsy grew up wanting to be a singer.  By age four, she was already a member of a children’s choir and performed regularly in youth theatre musicals and operettas.

Over the years her interest in performing musically has never really waned.  In the eighties, she was the founding member of a popular New Jersey "girl-group" act, The PastElles.  She also performed regularly with the Hoboken Sound Tapestry Chorus.

She has been an active member of several choirs and choruses in her adopted hometown of Saratoga Springs,  NY.  She has also been involved in local musical theatre productions and was a member of several different cabaret acts, performing regularly in Saratoga’s bars and clubs.

Her enduring passion for the classic rock ‘n’ roll sounds of the fifties and sixties has led her to return to her earlier "girl group" sound, founding the Saratoga Springs-based group,  "Betsy and The ByeGons" in 2009.
